About the event
Discovery Health Zone (DHZ), a non-profit, 501c3 tax exempt organization that promotes physical fitness and community health. Our mission is to empower and educate our community with the essential tools to help sustain a quality of life. We strive to build a culture that promotes healthy habits in people to create a healthier lifestyle in an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed. With this in mind, our event will focus on bringing health screenings, education, and physical fitness to the community in an effort to prevent obesity in children and adults. Â
This event is free to the public. There will be a dj, free raffles and giveaways. Free health screenings, child physicals, weightloss consults will be offered during the event. Upon registration, there will be a free Full Body Bootcamp and Xtreme Hip Hop Step (XHH).Â
